Cambridge University is generally regarded as one of the best universities, if not the best, in the United Kingdom and is ranked well in world standings.

There are a couple of fairly features of Cambridge that seperates it from other universities. The University is constructed of a number of autonomous colleges and a large proportion of the teaching is done in 'supervisions' rather than seminars at undergraduate level. This is usually a supervisor for a pair of students, so gets one much more attention than one would in a larger seminar.

As a compsci, I study in the Computer Lab, but I live in Clare College.

This section is really all about two things:
  • A page with some opinions on a couple of colleges, and their formals.
  • A page about compsci as a subject.

  • Quote
    Lord Byron writing of Cambridge:
"This place is the Devil, or at least his principal residence, they call it the University, but any other appellation would have suited it much better, for study is the last pursuit of the society; the Master eats, drinks, and sleeps, the Fellows drink, dispute and pun, the employments of the undergraduates you will probably conjecture without my description."
